A tropical orchid is shown over a mass of daisies. Each daisy is a unit or pixel creating the overall image.
this is a papery seed head beneath it are the individual seed heads from a clock which again creat the entire image.

This is an image of a South African flower, the geometry behind the flower is the microscopic cross section of the stem of the flower depicted. This is showing that symmetry and forms transcend all scales in nature.
This has two depictions of a leaf, the veins from a microscopic level to the curling of a stem with leaves attached. The beetles nestle on all scales amongst the leaf litter beneath your feet.

A snail shell is layered above a tesselation of passionflowers and decagons. This shows that the relationship between the flowers and snail are intrinsically linked.

The initial layer are based upon Protozoa and the grey trumpet shape is the microscopic image from the centre of a Scabious.

This is a painting of combined forms from holly, thistle and pepper. Then using a complex layering technique I have added butterflies over the original image.
This is an image of butterfly surrounded by smaller versions of the same butterfly which is meant to be hinting at - nature is made from recurring patterns on all scales.

This is a development of the technique used in the two pictures above. The main 'swan' like image (isn't in fact a swan but based on a skeletal development of a flower) fills the board and is on the bottom layer. Then there are two layers of the top of repetition of the smaller versions of the main images. One layer is in colour and the top layer in black and white. Again this is meant to be revealing the microscopic layers making the larger structure.

Here you can see red patterns underneath the main image. These red patterns are of the blue flower but influenced by celtic patterns. Again with the idea that the smaller patterns are the building blocks of the larger image.

This is an orchid based upon a square, can you find the 4 squares in this image?

This is an Orchid based upon pentagon and five pointed star. Can you find the 3 pentagons, 1 star? How many triangles can you find??

This is flower that I have combined with a pepper and stamens to my own pattern. I then photographed and scanned in the flower to create a fractal pattern of the image which I then drew back ontop of the original flower.

This is based upon a Lily, Seed pod and branches. The surrounding patterns are based upon the fractal pattern I created in the picture below.

This image is based upon a Magnolia flower. The patterns that can be seen underneneath the main image are circular patterns based upon Magnolia buds. Therefore the bud of the Magnolia creates and forms the flower of a Magnolia.

This image of a butterfly on a flower has a pattern underneath it which is based upon the flower in a celtic format.

This is a combination of ivy leaves and a flower based upon a tulip arranged so that a hexagon is formed.

This is an image based upon a chrysanthemum combined with the central seed pod which was based upon the form and shape found in a Monkey Flower. The surrounding 'spider' pattern is smaller images of the large central flower.
