Art Workshops and Courses

chives orange blue photoshop

Claire has taught many classes and courses for different art organisations across the South East. Claire has a strong teaching style and believes that classes should be designed to accommodate the individual and what that person wants to learn within a group setting. Claire creates a relaxed and supportive atmosphere where each student encourages and inspires each other. Claire encourages the student to choose the medium and subject of their artwork if it is appropriate for the workshop theme. By using her experience, Claire shows each individual student how to use that medium and the best way in which to tackle their chosen subject.

BUTTERFLY Claire has over 10 years experience teaching both adults and children. Claire regularly runs courses and workshops at Guildford Institute and Evolution Arts, Brighton. Claire is often invited to demonstrate to art clubs and organisations and work with schools. Claire runs her own courses in Loxwood and Partridge Green. As part of her 7 year residency at Farnham Maltings she regularly worked within the community and was a visiting artist for Farnborough College of Technology and also advised both students and lecturers there on the current art market as part of the their Media and Creative Arts Liaison Committee.
Claire has also inspired three students, to do projects about her and her work for academic courses. This has included a degree student at Reading University, a GCSE student at St. Anne’s Convent School, Southampton and an NC Design student at Farnborough College of Technology
