About Me
I’ve been a practising artist for over 20 years, since graduating with a Fine Art degree, and throughout that time I’ve exhibited my work in both private and public collections in the UK and internationally.
However, what has always been most important to me is not just the finished work, it’s the creative process behind it.
Over the years, alongside my own practice, I’ve worked extensively with students of all ages and abilities, and I’ve seen first-hand how many people feel blocked, unsure, or convinced they’re “not good enough” to be artists.
This is why my approach to teaching has always been different. I don’t believe in rigid instruction or one-size-fits-all methods.
Instead, I work closely with each person to help them reconnect with their own creativity, develop their confidence, and find a way of working that feels natural and sustainable.
My mentoring is shaped not just by my experience as an artist, but by a deep understanding that creativity is something personal, often vulnerable and something that deserves to be nurtured, not judged.
