FRAMING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

How does the service work?
This service is for drawings and paintings on paper and limited editions only.
Purchase the artwork you love online through www.claire-harrison.co.uk. Next, email Claire at firstname.lastname@example.org requesting that you wish your purchase to be framed (this is best done at the point of purchase). After Claire provides ideas for frames, you will then select the frame. Claire will email you a digital mock-up of the painting in the frame. If you provide Claire with a photo of the desired location within your home, Claire can demonstrate how the picture and frame would appear. Please note a mock-up is still a digital image and the actual framed artwork will look slightly different.
Once you have decided upon the frame to buy, Claire will order it and then invoice you, payment is by online bank transfer only. The framed artwork will not be dispatched until all the framing funds have cleared Claire’s bank account.
Theres is a flat rate for a standard wood/black/white/grey frame as of March 2023:
A4 or 30x30cm original/print - £95
A3 original print - £125
Prices are updated, and are liable to change. Other frames are available and quotes can be given.
All framed artworks are dispatched with safety glass (acrylic), due to the insurance needed when dispatching by courier and glass items are exempt.
Please note for artworks that will be framed, these will not be covered under the normal terms; because Claire is reliant on the bespoke frame being delivered to her so that she can frame the artwork and then despatched to you.
Framing artworks is a bespoke service and therefore not covered under the distance selling regulations, because the choice and size of frame is personal to you and the artwork you have chosen. Any damage in transit will be covered under courier’s insurance, details of which can be provided if required. Due to this bespoke service, any purchase of a frame is not refundable. The purchase of any artwork can be returned and a full refund will be given for the artwork only, once received in a sellable condition.

As always, Claire will keep you updated at every part of your purchase, and let you know once the bespoke frame has been delivered to her and when your artwork has been framed and dispatched.
