EXHIBITIONS/ART FAIRS/OPEN HOUSES
I rarely take part in exhibitions, art fairs or open houses nowadays because I am too busy creating beautiful pieces of artworks of nature to bring peace and joy for my customers home or business.
If I purchase a piece of art, what other costs can I expect to have to pay?
There are no additional shipping or packaging costs for your artwork to be dispatched to your requested address worldwide. However, there may be taxes or duties levied by your government at the point it is imported into your country. You can find out more about this by contacting your government, these are generally paid to the courier by the customer on delivery.
I can’t wait to have a beautiful colourful artwork of nature on my wall and am purchasing a painting on your website. What happens next?
• You will receive a confirmation email from firstname.lastname@example.org. Check your spam folder if you did not receive it.
• If you live locally to me (Sussex, Surrey, East Hampshire) I may be able to deliver the painting in person
• If the work is shipped, I will let you know once your order is dispatched, along with the tracking number so that you can track it online.
How will I know how this beautiful artwork will look in my room?
Send me an email of the link from my website of the painting you would like, and images from your home of where you would like it to go with dimensions of the objects around it. E.g. A photo of a bare wall behind your sofa. Send me the rough width of your sofa and I can place the painting on the picture of your wall, so you can see what it looks like. This service is free of charge.
I need some time to think about it...
No problem! Send me an email at email@example.com with the painting you love and I’ll place it on reserve for one week. At the end of the week, I’ll follow up with you to see if you would like to add nature to your home. No one else will be able to buy that painting for one week, so you can think about it and chat with your friends and family before proceeding.
I love your work, but it isn’t quite finished and I don’t want to lose out on the opportunity to buy it!
It takes me several months to paint a picture, if you have fallen in love with one of my works in progress, you can pay a 10% deposit which will exclusively reserve it until it is ready to be purchased, ensuring that no-one else will buy it.

How will I know it is a genuine Claire Harrison Artwork?
All my oil paintings are signed on the back, watercolours and drawings on the front and all artwork purchased online arrvies with a Certificate of Authenticity. You can also meet me online and see the quality of the artwork, as each piece is created with love and care and has taken months, sometimes years to create. I use a painstaking method of layering paint to create vibrancy of colour and detail.
Do you frame your artworks?
All my oil paintings are ready to hang. I have a framing service for UK based customers for my drawings, watercolours and limited edition prints, you can read more about this service here - FRAMING SERVICE For all my international customers just drop me an email and I can give you a bespoke quote.
HOW DO I PAY?
Buying directly from my website you can pay via my PayPal checkout which means you can pay by credit/debit card even if you don’t have a PayPal account.
You can pay by credit/debit card using my Zettle account
Can pay by invoice or by a Zettle link that I can email to you.
How will my artwork be packaged?
Paintings are bubble wrapped with a thin layer and then hardboard is put over the front and back of the artwork. It is then bubble wrapped again and then covered in parcel paper. Where possible all packaging materials are reused.
LIMITED EDITION PRINTS
These are rolled and put into cardboard tube. The tube is then covered with cellophane to ensure it is waterproof for its journey.
These are put into an envelope with think cardboard front and back. For multiple or larger purchases they are also bubble wrapped.
How long will I need to wait for my artwork?
I endeavour to dispatch smaller works within 2 working days of the order and large works within 5 working days. Shipping is dependent on your location and the courier. I will keep you updated every step of the way via email. If I am away, I will notify you via email and keep you updated on your delivery.
Do you offer expedited shipping?
Yes, however there will be an additional cost for this depending on your timescales. Please contact me via email firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your requirements.
