Understanding Abstracts

I will explain and demonstrate the different types of abstract art, from Paul Klee, to Kandinsky and Mondrian. Students will understand the different styles of abstract art and how to create them. I will explain how to create composition and apply colour. Students can choose the type of paint they work in. For all abilities.

Materials I will be using in the video: I will be using a set of watercolours, water jar, brushes, 300gsm watercolour paper and a permanent fine liner. If you don’t have these you can use chalk pastels or colouring pencils.
