Paintings in the Sussexscapes series are not of any particular scene, but as I commute around the sussex landscape, my brain logs these wonderful images of large skies and cloud formations. As I have a partial photographic memory, every now and then I have to put these onto paper/canvas and board, so they leave my head and other ideas can flow! I am always overwhelmed with the colours the Sussex skies produce.
