I am Claire, and my studio is based in the Weald countryside of Sussex in the UK. I study nature and then paint ethereal, dreamlike colourful artworks that create a tranquil, peaceful presence to my collectors homes and offices.

I am passionate about the environment and often combine humanity with natural forms showing that we are an equal part of nature to flowers, trees or insect, each of us just as vulnerable to climate change as any other species.

I create each artwork with great patience, love and detail, slowly building up each layer of oil paint to create depth of colour that appears to glow from the wood that I paint on. Each painting takes many months of even years to create because of my painstaking process.
