Trees (Sussexscape)Oil on Board, 30 x 50 cms, 12 x 19.5 inchesThis oil painting is based upon the view I can see from my art studio window, it is a tree line/hedgerow between two fields that face west. When the sun sets, the light is low and shines through the trunks of these trees and gives a sense of depth behind the treeline. I have drawn and painted this view for a while, but this is the first oil painting of this Sussex landscape.
