Reclaiming Nature

Trees have majesty and are awe inspiring as they loom tall over you in a woodland. Perspective makes it seem that they taper towards each other, which can often make you feel unsteady looking up at them. This affect reminds me of the arches and pillars from cathedral architecture, which are designed to belittle you, so that you look up in awe of God. I have therefore combined the trees with the arches and pillars from a cathedral.
We need to be more in awe of nature, to respect and preserve it.
