On the surface, this picture looks like a collection of flowers.  If you look closely, the picture actually reveals little faces in the centre of the painting.  These faces are meant to be androgenous, neither the green man or mother nature, instead a collection of nature spirits that look saddened at the continual onslaught nature receives from mankind.  They merge into a camouflaged background away from sight and partly forgotten, just as our cultural conscience for nature has disappeared.
