Inspired by my ‘Fading Blooms’ series, I remain entranced by flowers at every stage of their lifecycle. Their hues shift gracefully as pigments fade, creating a symphony of colours.

In this circular composition, wilting flowers encircle a face—an integral part of the ‘Portrait of Nature.’ These fading blooms play a crucial role in the ecosystem, akin to the living face within the painting. They yield seeds that sustain birds and contribute to the next generation of plants. As they decompose, they nourish fungi and bacteria, enriching the soil for future life. This artwork celebrates the cyclical dance of nature, where every ending holds the promise of renewal.
