Reclaiming Nature #3Watercolour on Paper, This watercolour is similar to ‘Reclaiming Nature #4’ but it is a painting of two halves. The left side is full of optimism and hope as nature reclaims the land humanity has taken and concreted over. On the right side, the view is a little darker and unsettled, as nature struggles to correct the balance. Humanity has built over and contaminated so much, that it will take a while for nature to flourish and not be affected by it. Humanity’s future is currently hanging in the balance, will we manage to cut carbon emissions just enough to curtail the global climate temperature from rising to critical levels that will jeopardise many species including us? |
