Hands, butterfly wings and flowers all combine to create this amalgamated composition of nature in this watercolour painting. I am showing that humanity is nature, and on an equal footing with it. We are not superior to nature, but just as beautiful and vulnerable as any other species. The butterflies aren't whole, just as the human form isn't, instead they are parts that are interwoven creating a new and different perspective on nature.
